About Us

Hello and welcome to Country Cottage Musings. Firstly thanks for taking the time to come visit our little piece of cyber space. I’m Michelle and He’s J. Isn’t he a cutie!!!

 

 

We are an Irish couple living in Toronto. J moved here five years ago and I moved the year after. We met on my first weekend in Toronto and have been together since. We have a simple dream to own our own house with a bit of land, where we hope to raise our future family.

 

This blog came about as a way to keep record of what’s happening in our lives now and our journey as we set about buying our house, planning our wedding and whatever else comes along in between. I enjoy cooking and baking and will share the gluten free recipes I use {including the failures as any gluten free cook knows sometimes it just doesn’t work}. J is very handy with the tools so we will share his creations and DIY exploits along with the renovations on the cottage as they come together.
